Edmonton's Best Locations for Outdoor Couples Photos


Edmonton has so many memorable and unique outdoor photo locations both in the City and nearby that create the perfect backdrop for couples and engagement photos. These are some of my favorite locations that I have taken photos for couples at.


  1. Devon River Valley Trails - Located just outside Edmonton along the river these trails are not as busy as many of the City trails.
  2. Tuckers Field - Located just West of Edmonton with little to no parking, these trails are filled with tree's and hills with not a city building in sight. A great location for those who want photos in nature.
  3. Borden Park - Since the park was revitalized there are many areas to get photos with a variety of textured backgrounds, fields, and even a pond.
  4. Kinsmen Park - Great views with the Walterdale bridge in the background, trails, fields and trees.
  5. University of Alberta Campus - Old buildings, architectural backgrounds, and romantic moments.


As a photographer I picked these locations as they usually have a bit less traffic which makes for great photos anytime of the year.
